CellBIM for Excel and IFC Exporter

Nomitech

A freeware Autodesk® Navisworks® state of the art IFC Exporter — now with IFC 2x3 to 4x3, base quantities and reusable element mapping — and direct export to Excel with Nomitech’s CellBIM for Excel.

Free

The IFC Exporter will convert all data displayed in the Autodesk® Navisworks® Scene to IFC and automatically detect Elements from Model Items. No user interaction is required, all data will be available including Buildings, Sites, Storeys, Spaces, Elements, Materials, Textures, and Properties and the Geometry is exactly as much of what you see in Navisworks. This is a freeware solution the IFC files created will not have colors and properties, you can subscribe at CellBIM Store for a registered version that will add all features to the IFC exporter.

New in version 3. Choose the IFC schema: 2x3, 4, 4x1, 4x2 or 4x3. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing models keep their real element types instead of becoming generic objects, and IFC 4x3 carries roads, railways, pavements, kerbs, earthworks and boreholes. IFC base quantities are measured element by element and written in the standard place, with the quantity set each element type defines. Element mapping is detected from the model’s own properties and works unaided on most models; where it cannot tell, you set it in plain language and save it as a template to reuse. Models exported for CellBIM keep each material’s surface finish. A user guide is included, from the ribbon and offline. Navisworks 2020 and 2027 are now supported.

CellBIM for Excel brings your BIM and 2D design files directly inside Microsoft Excel® Spreadsheets. Use Drag and Drop to Interact with BIM Models, perform Quantity Takeoffs in 3D and 2D and generate interactive BIM Data Tables. “Democratise” your BIM and 2D drawing Processes and make BIM and 2D accessible to anyone, everywhere with or without cloud access! Quick and Simple! The CellBIM Navisworks Plugin will create an *.xlslx file that when opened in Microsoft Excel with CellBIM for Excel will display the Navisworks model and allow the users to interact BIM data with excel.

Note:This app uses a custom installer (and not the standard App Store installer).
