BIM & Scan Ltd. was established in 2015 as a spin-out of the Headcount Group.

An innovation team, led by Dr. Shawn O’Keeffe, identified common problems in construction projects and developed novel and unique solutions using big data algorithms and advancements in 3D laser scanning, these solutions:

Scan vs BIM – Automate the validation of as-designed and as-built models, using point cloud data, to a user specified tolerance.

Scan to Bim – Automate the production of BIM models from 3D laser scan point clouds.
