Who We Are

Workflow Apps builds productivity tools for MEP fabrication detailers working in Autodesk Revit. We focus on one thing: eliminating the repetitive, manual tasks that consume hours of a detailer's day so they can focus on what actually matters — producing accurate, constructable models.

What We Build

We create Revit add-ins that target the real bottlenecks in mechanical piping and plumbing modeling workflows. Our tools don't try to replace the detailer's judgment — they amplify it. Every tool we ship automates a specific, well-defined task that detailers currently do by hand, click by click, element by element.

Our Philosophy

Built from the field, not the office. Every tool we create started as a real pain point on a real project. We don't brainstorm features in a vacuum — we watch detailers work, identify where they lose time, and build tools that give that time back.

Speed without sacrifice. Our tools are fast, but never at the cost of accuracy. A pipe spacer that's quick but rounds wrong is worse than doing it by hand. Every tool produces results that are model-ready — correct geometry, correct parameters, correct annotations — without manual cleanup.

We build for MEP fabrication detailers — the people who turn engineering designs into constructable models. Specifically:

• Mechanical piping detailers laying out process and hydronic piping systems
• Plumbing detailers modeling domestic water, waste, and vent systems
• Fabrication shops using CADMEP to produce cut lists and spool drawings
• VDC/BIM coordinators who need models detailed faster without adding headcount

The Problem We Solve

A skilled detailer's value is in their knowledge of construction, fabrication tolerances, and coordination — not in their ability to click "Align" forty times to space pipes on a rack. Yet the average detailer spends 30–40% of their modeling time on tasks that are purely mechanical: spacing, dimensioning, tagging, numbering, rounding, and annotating.

That's not a training problem. That's a tools problem.

Workflow Apps exists to close that gap. We give detailers the automation they need to produce a more detailed, more accurate model in less time — so they can spend their hours on the work that actually requires expertise.
