LichtBus — Tools for everyday Revit work

LichtBus develops apps that make the BIM workflow more efficient in daily design practice. Drawing on years of experience in architecture and lighting design, we build tools that address exactly the points where Revit leaves gaps or forces detours.

Our first release is GeoBridge — an importer for georeferenced data directly into Revit. CityGML city models, digital orthophotos (DOP) and digital terrain models (DGM) are imported as families and topography, properly georeferenced, with no need for external software or manual coordinate fixes.

Our roadmap includes further everyday tools, among them a GLB Importer for bringing external 3D models into Revit families, and a GLB Exporter that — similar to IFC conversion — preserves materials and parameters cleanly, creating a clean bridge to web, AR and visualization pipelines.

Every LichtBus app comes from real projects: each feature solves a problem we wanted solved ourselves.
